The project PAPE was selected for funding in 2008 under the EU Lifelong Learning Programme, sub-division Leonardo da Vinci.

Introduction

Leonardo da Vinci is one of the sub-programmes of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). It focuses on vocational education and training, other than at tertiary level. It addresses both the learning and teaching needs in the sector, and is therefore aimed at all parties involved, namely trainees in vocational education, teachers and trainers, institutions and educational bodies, enterprises, associations, social partners and bodies relating to either lifelong learning or the labour market.

The Leonardo da Vinci programme covers a wide range of action, i.e. types of projects, some of which are managed by the Executive Agency or by LLP National Agencies. Policy issues of the programme are handled by the European Commission, Directorate General Education and Culture.

Lifelong Learning Programme

The new Life Long Learning Programme (LLP) supports learning opportunities from childhood to old age in every life situation. It has a budget of € 7000 millions for the period 2007-2013, and is the successor to the current Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci and eLearning programmes. It is composed of 4 sectoral sub-programmes, 4 transversal programmes and the Jean Monnet programme.

Das Programm und seine Ziele

LEONARDO DA VINCI ist das Programm der Europäischen Union im Bereich der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung. Es unterstützt die transnationale Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Akteuren in diesem Bereich, indem es Auslandsaufenthalte zum beruflichen Lernen fördert und in europäischen Partnerschaften innovative Lehr- und Lernmaterialien oder Zusatzqualifikationen entwickelt. Das neue LEONARDO DA VINCI-Programm ist den Zielsetzungen des Lissabon- und des Kopenhagen-Prozesses verpflichtet.

LEONARDO DA VINCI unterstützt Reformvorhaben wie die Entwicklung eines Kreditpunktesystems in der beruflichen Bildung (ECVET) und eines Europäischen Qualifikationsrahmens (EQR). Außerdem ist es das größte Programm zur Förderung von Auslandsaufenthalten in der beruflichen Bildung.

Zielgruppen

LEONARDO DA VINCI richtet sich an alle Akteure der beruflichen Bildung:

  • Einrichtungen der beruflichen Bildung wie berufsbildende Schulen, außer- und überbetriebliche Bildungsstätten

  • Unternehmen

  • Sozialpartner und ihre Organisationen, Berufsverbände und Kammern

Geförderte Aktivitäten

Im Programm LEONARDO DA VINCI werden folgende Aktivitäten gefördert:

  • Auslandsaufenthalte in der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung

  • Projekte zum Transfer von Innovationen

  • Partnerschaften

  • Projekte zur Entwicklung von Innovationen

  • Netzwerke

  • Vorbereitende Besuche
